Hi – I’m Penny.
I’m a mum of two (7 year old Little Miss C and 4 year old Master C) and also a crochet addict, radio lover, school governor, tea drinker and chocoholic. For over nine years now I’ve been blogging over at Being Mrs C about pretty much everything that goes on in my life. That can mean anything from children’s toy and book reviews through to my latest crochet creations. Over the years I’ve also developed a bit of a thing for being thrifty and hence lots of posts kept cropping up about saving money, being green and thrifty and also my addiction with charity shops. I’m now bringing all posts like that together here on Penny’s Savings.
I have hosted a thrifty slot on local community radio station Radio Verulam for a couple of years now, and since starting that I have had intentions to write a book about how to save money in a family environment. Penny’s Savings is the first real step towards that becoming a reality.
For now though, sit down with a cuppa (something you’ll notice me doing a lot!) and I hope you enjoy what I have to share here.
If there’s anything that you would like me to write about then please just get in touch. Likewise, if you’re a brand and would like to work with Penny’s Savings then I would love to hear from you.
